Mr. and Mrs. James Edward Arceneaux Jr. of Saint Joseph, are pleased to announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Rebecca Anne, to William David Weeks, son of Mr. and Mrs. David Lynn Weeks of Tallulah.

Becca is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Marvin Smith of Waterproof and Mr. James Edward Arceneaux Sr. and the late Mrs. Erma Williams Arceneaux of Saint Joseph. She is a graduate of Tensas Academy and the University of Louisiana at Monroe. She received her master's degree in English education from Louisiana Tech University. Becca is currently employed with the Richland Parish School System.

William is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Travis Walker of Crowville and Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Weeks of Tallulah. He is a graduate of Tallulah Academy and Louisiana Tech University, where he received a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. He is currently employed with Lufkin Industries in Lufkin, Texas.

The wedding will take place on June 6, 2009, at Wesley Chapel in Saint Joseph. A reception will follow at the Tallulah Country Club.

Following the honeymoon, the couple will make their home in Lufkin.
