Betty Blunt
Funeral services for Betty Blunt, 70, of Monroe were held Saturday at Winnsboro Second Baptist Church. Burial followed at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens in Winnsboro, under the direction of Richardson Funeral Home.
Mrs. Blunt died Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at her home in Monroe.
She is survived by her sons: James Blunt, Walter Cosey and Steven Blunt; daughters: Laura Spencer, Phyllis Rollins, Yolanda Edwards, Millie Blunt, Cristine Blunt, Cynthia Blunt; sisters: Millie Spears and Florine Lynch; 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Jonathan Smith, Anthony Martin, Wesley Neal, Everett Richardson, Anthony Glover and James D. Spears.

Calvin Leroy Fletcher
Funeral services for Calvin Leroy Fletcher, 55, of Anna Texas, were held Saturday at Holly Grove Baptist Church in Wisner. Burial followed in the church cemetery, under the direction of Richardson Funeral Home.
Mr. Fletcher, formerly of Wisner, died Sunday, May 10, 2009 at McKinney Medical Center in McKinney, Texas.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Rose-Fletcher, Anna, Texas; daughters: Karen Short and Gladys Harris, both of Anna, Texas; father, George Fletcher Jr., Winnsboro; brothers: Arthur R. Fletcher Sr., Wisner; George Fletcher III, Las Vegas, Nev.; sisters: Gladys Cheffen, Monroe; Bobbie Woodard, West Monroe; Blanchie Walters, LaPlace, La.; Lisa Fletcher and Denise Williamson, both of Wisner; and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Phil Brass, Glenn Brass, Darrick Rose, Derrick Brass, Arthur R. Fletcher Jr., and Terry Franklin.

Lettie L. Killian
Funeral services for Lettie L. Killian, 89, of West Monroe, were held Sunday, May 17, 2009 at Lone Pine Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Perry, Rev. Lindle Stewart and Rev. Paul Stephens officiating. Burial followed in Harris Cemetery under the direction of Gill First National Funeral Home in Winnsboro.
Mrs. Killian was born to the union of her parents, Thomas and Rosie Russell King on April 29, 1920 in Strong, Ark., and passed from this life on Friday, May 15, 2009 at her residence in West Monroe. She was a member of Lone Pine Baptist Church in Winnsboro. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Theo Killian; grandson: Scott Keith King; and seven brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her son Buddy Killian and his wife Charlotte of Monroe; daughter: Carolyn King of Strong, Ark.; six grandchildren: Glen Killian and wife Toni; Kenny Killian and wife Amy; Allen Killian and wife Laci; Nicole Winn and husband Grey; Natascha Hall and husband Tony; and Nannette Frisby and husband Mike; and eleven great grandchildren; a special niece Kathy Killian of Winnsboro; and other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers were Glen Killian, Kenny Kilian, Allen Killian, Carl Killian, Eddie Earl, and Shawn Hughes.
The family would like to say "thank you" to the nurses and staff of Patients Choice Hospice and the sitters who were a great help: Ann, Betty, and Wanda.

Emeral Jessie Lilly
Funeral services for Emeral Jessie Lilly, 53, of Winnsboro, will be held at Young's Community Memorial Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at 2 p.m. with Bro. Ricky Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Providence Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Young's Community Memorial Funeral Home in Winnsboro.
Mr. Lilly was born July 11, 1955 in Winnsboro, and passed away Sunday, May 17, 2009 at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe.
Survivors include two sisters: Shirley Jaubert and Sandra Hougue, both of Newellton; two brothers: William W. Lilly of Winnsboro, and Nathan Lilly of St. Joseph.
Pallbearers will be Billy Jaubert, William J. Lilly, Nathan Lilly Jr., Joseph Hougue, James Hougue, and James M. Jones.

Patrick 'Pat' M. Loflin
A Graveside service for Patrick "Pat" M. Loflin, 61, of Winnsboro, was held at Oak Grove Cemetery on Tuesday, May 19, 2009, with Rev. Johnny Magnuson officiating. Services were under the direction of Young's Community Memorial Funeral Home in Winnsboro.
Mr. Loflin was born Dec. 21, 1947 in Delhi, La., and passed away Saturday, May 16, 2009 at La. Extended Care Hospital in West Monroe. He was an entrepreneur, owner-operator of U-Pak-It convenient stores in Winnsboro. He was a member of the U-Pak-It Corp., a member of the Turkey Foundation, a supporter of Ducks Unlimited and an avid white perch fisherman.
He was preceded in death by his father, William "Mike" H. Loflin, Sr.; mother, Rebecca (Peel) Loflin; son, Mick Loflin; daughter-in-law, Ashley Loflin; brother, William "Billy" Loflin Jr.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Katye Loflin of Winnsboro; daughter, Angel Eskridge and husband Edward of Winnsboro; sister, Martha Seward of Parma, Idaho; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Harold and Louise Robinson of Winnsboro; and a host of animals.
Pallbearers were Frank Coleman, J. D. Wilson, Thomas Smith, A. P. Magee, Bill York, and Frank Montana.
Honorary pallbearers were Gerald York and Ronnie Temple.

Gracie Mae Nobles
Services for Mrs. Gracie Mae Nobles, age 100, of Bakersfield, Calif., formerly of Mangham, were held Friday, May 15, 2009 at Lone Cherry Baptist Church near Mangham, with Rev. Doyle Adams officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
Mrs. Nobles was a homemaker and passed away on May 7, 2009.
Mrs. Nobles is survived by a son, Bobby R. Nobles of Bakersfield, Calif.
