Benefit softball play scheduled
A benefit softball tournament is scheduled Saturday at Franklin Parish High School's baseball field.
Play begins at 9 a.m.
Proceeds are to benefit the travel and medical expenses of Michelle Waller, who requires brain surgery due to Chiari Malformatin.
Hamburger plates will be offered at $5 per plate with tickets available at Sullivan's Clinic before the tournament begins. Hamburger plates will be available at the ball park and can be picked up between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
