Local graduation cermonies scheduled
Seniors across the parish are preparing for graduation ceremonies this week.
Franklin Parish High School will hold its fifth commencement exercise at 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 14, 2009 in Patriot Stadium. In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held in the campus gymnasium and two tickets will be issued to each graduate.
The valedictorians for the graduating class are Mary Kate Guimbellot and Kenneth Wayne Blackson Jr. Mary Kate is the daughter of Susan and Todd Guimbellot. Kenneth is the son of LaTanga and Kenneth Blackson Sr.
Senior class president Mary Kate Guimbellot will present the class gift.
The 2009 graduating class of Franklin Academy will hold its commencement exercise at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 16, at River of Life Church.
The co-valedictorians for Franklin Academy's graduating class are Adrienne Hebert and Stephani Stephens. Adrienne is the daughter of Dee Dee and Larry Hebert. Stephanie is the daughter of Steve Stephens and the late MaeBelle Stephens.
Tucker Ellington will present the class gift from the graduating seniors. |
