Posted 5/12/09 Tommy L. Luckett A life celebration service for Tommy L. Luckett, 52, of Winnsboro was held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 12, 2009 in First United Methodist Church in Winnsboro with Rev. Hank Hamilton and Rev. Johnny Hankins officiating. Interment followed in Harris Cemetery near Crowville under the direction of Gill First National Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Mr. Luckett was born to Vernon Lamar and Helen Adams Luckett on Dec. 26, 1956 in Newellton and passed from this life Sunday, May 10, 2009 at his residence with his family at his side. He attended First United Methodist Church in Winnsboro and was a graduate of NLU. He was Sr. Vice President at Franklin State Bank in Winnsboro. He enjoyed golf, bird watching and gardening. He was preceded in death by his father Vernon "Bud" Luckett. He leaves behind his wife Kim Luckett; two daughters Abbey and Ashley Luckett; stepson Chase Morrison; mother Helen Luckett all of Winnsboro. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and many friends, Pallbearers were Paul Gravelle, Mike Hipp, Colby Peppers, Tommy Tims, Bill Walker, and Paul Work. Bentley K. "B.K." Roberts Funeral service for Bentley K. "B.K." Roberts, 71, of Buchanan, Michigan, formerly of Wisner, were held Saturday at Apostolic Faith Chapel in Gilbert under the direction of Gill First National Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Interment followed in South Central Cemetery in Wisner. Three of his sons, the Revs. Wayne, Brian and Anthony, officiated. He was born on Feb. 23, 1938 in Tallulah to Walter C. and Leone Cobb Roberts and passed from this life Sunday, May 3, 2009 at his residence in Buchanan. He was a member of Calvary Tabernacle of Three Oaks, MI and was involved in United Pentecostal Church International, Iron Workers Union # 292 of South Bend, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Aubrey and N.J. Roberts; and sister Henritta McCaa. He was born to Clarence Smiley and Rea Pauline Arnold Johnson on April 7, 1934 and passed from this life Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Johnson was a member of Taylor Bayou Baptist Church, where he served as song director, treasurer, and deacon. He was a member of Liddieville Masonic Lodge 328, and was owner and operator of Johnson's Refrigeration in Winnsboro for 30 years. He married Bertha Allen on July 12, 1953 in Coax Baptist Church near Winnsboro. Laron Marion McIntyre Funeral services for Laron Marion McIntyre, 84, of Delhi were held Saturday at Delhi United Methodist Church with the Johnny Hankins, Chris Thomas and Roy McIntyre officiating. Services were under the direction of Clark-Griffin Funeral Company, West Monroe. Mr. McIntyre died Thursday, May 7, 2009 at Glenwood Regional Medical Center. He was a native and lifelong resident of Franklin Parish, a farmer and cattle rancher. His cattle were the love and passion of his life. He was a member of the Delhi United Methodist Church and served with the U.S. Navy as a pilot having flown 110 day missions and eight night missions from Navel Carrier ships. He was preceded in death by his parents Laron Monroe and Minnie Kersh McIntyre; a daughter Karen McPherson; a sister, Audrey M. Honeycutt; brothers: M.C., Kersh and Roy Webb McIntyre.
