Gilbert plans 'trash bash' Gilbert residents are being asked to participate in "trash bash days," April 13 through May 1. "It's that time again," Mayor Mike Stephens said. "One large dumpster will be available for these days and will be located beside city hall for town residents."
There will be no tires, televisions, appliances or industrial chemicals allowed in the dumpster, the mayor added.
"It is the responsibility of each property owner to keep their lots clean and mowed and their buildings safe," Stephens added. "If the owners do not fulfill their responsibility, the town will mow the lot and clean the debris at the owner's expense."
Stephens encouraged Gilbert citizens to join in the clean-up campaign.
"We want to thank everyone for helping keep our town looking its best," Stephens said. |
