Moore, Jones to speak at membership meeting
Byron R. Moore and Michael R. Jones of Argent Advisors, Inc. will serve as guest speakers for the Winnsboro-Franklin Chamber of Commerce monthly membership meeting scheduled at noon on Thursday, April 2 in the Princess Room, historic downtown in Winnsboro. Argent Advisors, Inc. is a Registered Financial Advisor (RIA) registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
Byron Moore has been in the financial services industry since 1982 and a Certified Financial Planner practitioner since 1991. His columns have appeared in three North Louisiana Newspapers since 1993 and for several years he has also appeared on the North Louisiana morning television program 'Money Matters'.
Byron designs and implements financial plans that seek to balance the growth and protection of his clients' wealth. In addition to financial planning, Byron provides asset management services and life insurance services.
Mike R. Jones is Managing Director/Investment Services of Argent Advisors, Inc. and is responsible for the oversight of the dynamic asset allocation models of Argent Advisors, Inc. For the past four years Mike has served on the board of National Association of Active Investment Managers.
"Providing a source for sound financial advice is one of the best services that the Chamber can offer its membership during this period of economic uncertainty," said Lindy Price, Chamber president. "We are fortunate to have local financial advisor groups in Franklin Parish and are equally as fortunate to have Mr. Moore of 'celebrity' status to share his wealth of information with us at our monthly membership meeting. We hope that our business community and interested individuals will come out to hear what he has to say."
