Davis-Vines engagement
 Bobby Davis of Thibodaux and Lori Snyder of Natchez, Miss., announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Loren Davis of Sicily Island to James Vines, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Vines of Sicily Island.
The bride-elect is the maternal granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Goodwin of Sicily Island. She is the paternal granddaughter of Effie Bradford of Jonesville and Mrs. and Mrs. Jeff Davis of Marshall, Texas.
The prospective groom is the maternal grandson of James Sanders and the late Kathryn Sanders of Sicily Island. He is the paternal grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Jessie Vines of Sicily Island.
Loren is a graduate of Sicily Island High School and Delta Ouachita Vo-Tech. She is currently employed as a dental assistant for Dr. Jim Iverstine in Ferriday.
James is a graduate of Sicily Island High School and is currently employed as an operator by Baker Entergy.
The wedding is set for six o'clock in the evening on April 4, 2009 at Stanton Hall Antebellum home.
