Baskin residents to pick police chief
Voter registration closed last week for all municipal elections in the state with Baskin set to pick a police chief from three candidates. The election is the only one in the parish this sprng.
On the ballot for the April 4 election are current Police Chief Danny Barber, "Dan" Chase and C. R. "Buddy" Dear.
Barber is a former Baskin alderman and both Chase and Dear have experience with the Franklin Parish Sheriff's office. |
