Two Franklin Academy football player have become the first from the school to agree to play the sport in college.

Two players, Ryne Ford and Chris Sullivan, were signed to different schools in Mississippi late last week.

Both were first team all district defensive players whose accomplishments were statistically backed.

Sullivan, a 6-6 tackle, recorded 56 individual tackles and 25 assists last season and the 6-1 Ford had 76 tackles and 62 assists, including 34 for yards lost.

Ford signed with Belhaven College in Jackson and Sullivan agreed to play at Mississippi College in nearby Clinton.
