Elizabeth Baker and Zach Jones were united in marriage on November 28, 2008, at First Baptist Church Newellton. Rev. Shawn Ostoj of Port Allen officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Bobby and Shelly Baker of Newellton. The groom is the son of Mike and Kelly Jones of St. Joseph.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore a white strapless gown featuring a chapel-length train. The rich lace overlay was accented with Swarvoski crystals and glass beads. A champagne ribbon sash adorned the waist and was accented with a pearl encrusted brooch. Her chapel-length veil was accented with seed pearls made with pieces of the veil the groom's mother wore on her wedding day. The bride also carried an heirloom handkerchief, a gift from her parents.

Laurel Briery attended the bride as her maid of honor. Rae Lynn Johnson, cousin of the groom was junior bridesmaid and McKenna Works, niece of the bride served as flower girl.

Evan McFarland served as best man. Groomsmen was Peyton Jones, brother of the groom. Brett Allen Rice, cousin of the bride, served as ring bearer.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Newellton Chamber of Commerce.

After a honeymoon trip to Monmouth Plantation in Natchez, Miss., the couple will be at home in Lafayette.
