Larry 'Mossy' Gallagher
Funeral services for Larry "Mossy" Gallagher, 56, of Winnsboro, will be held at Fort Necessity Baptist Church on Friday, January 9, 2009 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Daniel Minchew, Rev. Rod Gordan, and Rev Benton Moore officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Necessity Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Young's Community Memorial Funeral Home in Winnsboro.
Mr. Gallagher was born May 5, 1952 in Winnsboro, and passed away Monday, Jan. 5, 2009 at Citizens Medical Center in Columbia. He was a resident of Winnsboro, a commercial fisherman, and a member of the Fort Necessity Pentecostal Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charlie A. Gallagher; mother, Nancy (Cassels) Gallagher; brother, Charlie E. Gallagher.
Survivors include his wife, Rosemary (Delaughter) Gallagher of Winnsboro; daughter, April Gallagher; three stepsons: Johnny Lofton, Samuel Wood, and Todd Lofton; nine grandchildren Kenneth Wood, Benjamine Lofton, Michael Lofton, Jonathan Lofton, Bradley Lofton, Hunter Lofton, Paige Lofton, Dakota Lofton, and Katelyn Lofton; five brothers: Lamar Gallagher, Rocky Gallagher, Richard Gallagher, Glenn Gallagher, and Jimmy Gallagher; four sisters: Mildred Munchew, Jeannie McMurray, Brenda Jacobs, and Barbara Parker; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Pallbearers were Ricky Campbell Jr., James Moore, Shay Easterling, David Carroll, Johnny Ray Crum, and Justin Gallagher. The honorary pallbearers were Clyde White, Leroy and Al Jones.

Marilyn Jean Hamrick
Marilyn Jean Hamrick, age 54, of Edmonton, Ky. died Monday, Jan. 5, 2009 at her home.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Hamrick, Edmonton; three son: William Dingler of Virginia, Robert Dingler and Brett Hamrick, both of Edmonton; one daughter Laura Freeman of Virginia; mother Mildred Joan Chipmon of Louisiana; two sisters: Carolyn Thornton of Mississippi; and Brenda Freeman of Louisiana; four grandchildren: Robbie Freeman, Casey Freeman, Harley Freeman and Alan Dingler; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her father, Losten William Berry.

Peter Aaron 'Pete' Pinkham
Peter Aaron "Pete" Pinkham, 25, husband of Chantel Mask Pinkham, of Goose Creek, SC, died Jan. 10, 2009.
Also surviving are his mother, Margaret Troisi and husband Charles of Newfield, Maine; step-father, Donald Nevers of Portland, Maine; two daughters, Aaliyah Grace Pinkham and Emily Elizabeth Pinkham of Pinewood, SC; two sisters; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dan and Trina Mask of Pinewood, SC, and Shirley Burks Wells of Winnsboro, LA.

Albert Lee Winters
Funeral services for Albert Lee Winters, 89, of Columbia, were held Friday, Jan. 9, 2009 at First Baptist Church Columbia under the direction of Gill First National Funeral Home in Winnsboro.
Burial followed at Welcome Home Cemetery in Grayson.
Mr. Winters was born to the union of his parents Adrian and Mary Shennault Winters on Aug. 15, 1919 in Sweet Home, Ark., and passed from this life on Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2009 at Citizens Medical Center in Columbia.
He is survived by his daughter: Phyllis Crawley and husband Jim of Columbia; two granddaughters: Diana Crawley and Sharon Gaines and husband David; two great grandsons: Trevor and Braeden Gaines.

Betty Wilkinson
Graveside service for Betty Wilkinson, 67, of Monroe, were held at Pine Grove Cemetery on Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2009 with Rev. John Williams officiating under the direction of Young's Community Memorial Funeral Home, Winnsboro.
Ms. Wilkinson was born May 5, 1941 in Winnsboro, and passed away Monday. Jan. 12, 2009 at St. Francis North Medical Center.
Survivors include son, Mickey Wilkinson, Calhoun; daughter, Kathy Sims, West Monroe; sister, Dorothy M. Lenard, Monroe; and one grandchild.
