Franklin Opry set for Jan. 17
The January edition of the Franklin Opry will be held on Saturday, Jan. 17, 2009 at the Princess Theatre in downtown Winnsboro.
The family-oriented event will include the musical stylings of the Gene King Band, featuring Judy Long of Winnsboro and fiddling phenom Hallie Yarbrough of Bastrop. Special guests will be Ricky Hendrix Jr. of Monroe and the 12-year old Adams twins of Bastrop.
Sponsors for the January Opry are Dianne Wroten and State Farm Insurance – Dianne Wroten, Franklin Healthcare Specialists, Winnsboro State Bank and Wal-Mart Supercenter.
