Story Archives: FBLA completes recycling project

FBLA completes recycling project
posted E-mail Story E-mail Story | Print Story Print Story
From November 10, 2008 – January 9, 2009, the Franklin Parish High School Chapter of the Future Business Leaders of America has invited the general public as well as the business community to drop-off their old newspapers and magazines at our high school gymnasium.

During our last week, we encourage you to drop off office paper, junk mail, school papers, newspaper, magazines, and shopping catalogs between the hours of 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the Franklin Parish High School Gymnasium. Newspapers must be clean and dry.

At the conclusion of the recycling event, all collections will be transported to Applegate Insulation in Monroe where they will pay us $.03 cents per pound. All proceeds will be donated to the Good Samaritans of Franklin Parish to be used for purchases for their food pantry.

To join us in this worthwhile endeavor, contact Debbie Lyles, Lead Adviser, for the Franklin Parish High School FBLA. You may contact her by phone: 435-5676 or email: dlyles@fpsb.us.
