Franklin Opry Christmas edition set at Princess Theatre

The Princess Theatre will feature a special Christmas edition of the Franklin Opry on Saturday, Dec. 20.

"This is going to be our biggest show of the season," said Gene King, leader of the Gene King Band.

The line-up will include Mark Leland of Monroe, Denny, Donna and the Dixie Rockers, with K-104 radio personality Carl Bamburg and band, Ratchet. Local favorites will include Judy Long and Kyle Anne Kaufman, along with the Gene King Band.

"We want everyone to come out and enjoy some country Christmas music," said King.

Sponsors for the December Opry are Haring Catfish, Mary Anna Nursing Home, Sullivan's Feed and Western Wear and Bobby's Family Restaurant.

Ticket prices are $10 for ages 13 and up while ages 12 and under is $3. The box office opens at 6:15 p.m. and the show starts at 7:00 p.m. For advanced tickets or more information, please contact the Princess Box Office at 318-435-6299 or by email at princesstheatre@bellsouth.net.
