Students recognized for advanced scores Several parish students were recognized during the regular meeting of the Franklin Parish School Board recently. Students receiving advanced scores on iLEAP tests for the 2007-2008 school year were presented a plaque of recognition by board president Eddie Ray Bryan.
Justin Biggs, Reagan Lloyd and Victoria Ulmer were also recognized for receiving advanced scores in all four subjects: math, English-language arts (ELA), social studies and science.
Third graders Chance Bond and Joshua King were recognized for advanced scores in three subjects.
Third grade students receiving advanced scores in ELA were, Jacy Oliver of Fort School; Tashyra Brown, Hagan Campbell and Makala Denmon of Gilbert School. Third graders receiving advanced scores in mathematics were, Jason Haygood of Fort School; Jacy Berry, Joseph Bondi, Tashyra Brown and Hagan Campbell of Gilbert; and Marvin Scott of Winnsboro Elementary. Third graders receiving advanced scores in science were, Collin Shirley of Baskin School and Meg Stephens of Gilbert School. Third graders receiving advanced scores in social studies were, Jacy Berry, Joseph Bondi, Katelyn Lee, Meg Stephens and Russ Wagoner of Gilbert School. Fifth grade students receiving advanced scores in ELA were, Destiny Punchard of Crowville School; Emily Shelton and Logan Crum of Gilbert.
Fifth graders receiving advanced scores in mathematics were, Katelyn Ingram and Haley Matthews of Crowville School; Makeiah Adams, Bryan Martz and Dylan Roberts of Gilbert School. Fifth graders receiving advanced scores in science were, Zachary Smith of Crowville School and Bryan Martz of Gilbert School. James Monnin, fifth grader at Fort School received advanced scores in social studies.
Sixth grade students receiving advanced scores in mathematics were, Michael Martin of Fort Necessity; Hannah Jemerson and Adrienne Pilgreen of Gilbert School. Sixth graders receiving advanced scores in science were, Adrienne Pilgreen of Gilbert School; Aleah Pylant and Colby Rhodes of Baskin School. Sixth graders receiving advanced scores in social studies were, Tyler Day and Bethanny Gray of Crowville School; Aleah Pylant and Colby Rhodes of Baskin School.
Seventh grade students receiving advanced scores in ELA were, Matthew Cureington of Fort School; Sunny Bruce, Jessica Crawford and Rachel Quimby of Crowville School; Hailey Caldwell of Gilbert School. Seventh graders receiving advanced scores in mathematics were, Zachary Akins of Baskin School; Canon Fletcher of Crowville School and Dylan Harr of Gilbert School. Seventh graders receiving advanced scores in science were, Sunny Bruce of Crowville School and Ashton Copeland of Gilbert School. Seventh graders receiving advanced scores in social studies were, John Galloway of Crowville; Gregory LaBorde and Philip Bryce of Baskin School. Ninth grade student Andre Collins received advanced scores in mathematics. |
