Hayden-Armstrong engagement
 Irene Martin of Calhoun announces the engagement and upcoming marriage of her granddaughter, Tarisa Marie Hayden, to Jason Ryan Armstrong of Gilbert, son of Jeffrey and Robin Armstrong.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Marci and Raymond Hayden Jr. of Lucedale, Miss., and Jamie Pardue of West Monroe. She is the paternal granddaughter of Patty and Raymond Hayden Sr. of Biloxi, Miss., and the maternal granddaughter of the late Bob Martin of Calhoun. She is the paternal great-granddaughter of Sibyl Blair of Lucedale, Miss.
The prospective groom is the maternal grandson of Jean Gwin Hatten of Winnsboro and the late John D. "Billy" Gwin and the maternal great grandson of Alma Pylant of Crowville. He is the paternal grandson of Doris and Jewel Armstrong Sr. of Gilbert.
The wedding is set for Saturday, Dec. 6, 2008 at two o'clock in the afternoon at Life Church in Winnsboro. Minister Kevin Bates will officiate the ceremony.
