Shay Turner of Baton Rouge and Shawn Robinson of Winnsboro will marry in a two o'clock ceremony on the afternoon of Oct. 18, 2008, at University Methodist Church.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Don and Brenda Turner of Grosse Tete, and Reese and Glenn Wiggins of Baton Rouge. She is the granddaughter of the late Chester and Alvina Williams, the late Rev. Don Turner, and Mary Howard Roberts of Grosse Tete.

The prospective groom is the son of Gary and Sandra Robinson of Winnsboro. He is the grandson of Bertille Ashley of Winnsboro, the late C. C. Ashley, and the late Jessie and Elsie Robinson.
She is a graduate of St. Amant High School and Southeastern Louisiana

University in Hammond. She is currently employed as a divisional sales manager with Assurance America Insurance Co.

He is a graduate of Ward III High School and attended Northeast Louisiana University and Louisiana State University. He is currently president of Precision Chemical and Equipment.
