Monthly police report
Winnsboro Police Chief Lester Thomas has released the monthly report for the period of July 21 through Aug. 18.
Fifty-one criminal charges were made for a year-to-date total of 1,270.
There were a total of 77 traffic charges for the month with 1,009 year-to-date; 17 accidents for a total of 449 year-to-date; and 523 calls for service.
