Ellerman-Shurley engagement
 Dr. and Mrs. Gary Dwain Ellerman of Radford, Va., announce the engagement of their daughter, Anna Katherine, to William Henderson Shurley.
The bride elect is the granddaughter of Lizzie Hollingsworth Whitten and the late James Oliver Whitten of Oak Grove, and Mrs. Willie Esther Ellerman and the late Donnie Ellerman of Winnsboro.
She is a graduate of Radford High School, the College of William and Mary, Duke University Divinity School, and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in pastoral theology at Princeton Theological Seminary.
The prospective groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Mercer Shurley of Monroe. He is the grandson of Mary Roth Rymer and the late Herman Henderson Rymer of Monroe, the late Lt. Col. and Mrs. William Robert Shurley, Jr., of Benton, Miss.
He is a graduate of St. Frederick High School, Baylor University, and Princeton Theological Seminary. He is a minister of word and sacrament in the Presbyterian Church .
The couple will exchange vows on Saturday, October 18, 2008, at the First Baptist Church of Radford, Va. |
