Cagle-Russell unite in Belize
Wendy Sue Russell and Jay Weston Cagle were united in marriage on May 30, 2008. The double ring ceremony took place on the beaches of Ambergris Caye in Belize in Central America.
Parents of the bride are Suzie Springer of Navarre, Fla. and Phillip Russell of Harriman, Tenn. She is the granddaughter of the late Howard and Maude Wilburn and the late Maurice Russell and Lennie Campbell.
The groom's parents are Linda Duplissey Walsh of Savannah, Ga. and Mr. and Mrs. William Cagle of Crowville. He is the grandson of the late Raymond Taliaferro, and Mrs. Shirley Taliaferro of Winnsboro and the late Raymond Taliaferro, the late Mr. and Mrs. Billy Duplissey, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Cagle.
For the ceremony, the bride chose a two piece turquoise and white strapless tea-length ensemble, complimented with silver and turquoise jewelry. She carried a bouquet of red and pink native flowers. Her hair was also adorned with flowers from the tropical paradise.
Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed champagne and wedding cake on the beach.
The bride is currently employed as an LPN at Ob/Gyn Specialists of the Emerald Coast. She is also pursuing her degree as a registered nurse.
The groom is a technical sergeant in the United States Air Force, based at Hurlburt Field in Fla. He is a helicopter weapons technician, and is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in aeronautics from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.
Following their wedding in Belize, the couple will make their home in Fort Walton Beach, Fla. |
