Couch-West engagement
 Michael Ray Couch and Barbara Kay Couch of Winnsboro announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Marla Shaylene to Johnathan Todd West of Hickman, Ky. He is the son of Claude and Renda West.
The bride-elect is the maternal granddaughter of Bobby and Patsy Chandler of South West City, Mossouri. She is the paternal granddaughter of Bill Couch of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and the late Delores Couch.
She is a graduate of Apostolic Tabernacle Christian School of Winnsboro and is currently a bus driver for the Franklin Parish School System.
The prospective groom is the maternal grandson of the late Oscar and Alcie Godsey of Monticello, Ky. He is the paternal grandson of the late Fred West and Sildria West and the step-grandson of Pirl West of Monticello.
He is a graduate of Christian Academy in Hickman and is currently employed by West Roofing.
The wedding is set for Saturday, Aug. 23, at two o'clock in the afternoon at Apostolic Tabernacle. The Rev. M.R. Couch of Winnsboro and the Rev. Billy Uzzle of Hickman will officiate the ceremony.
