Nell Tarver Connella
Funeral services for Nell Tarver Connella, 66, of Zwolle were held Monday at Aimwell Baptist Church.
Burial followed at Aimwell Cemetery.
Mrs. Connella died Friday, Aug. 8, 2008 at her residence.

Rev. George Ray Credit Sr.
Funeral services for Rev. George Ray Credit Sr., 69, of Winnsboro, were held Saturday at True Gospel Baptist Church with the Rev. Herman E. Harris officiating.
Burial followed at Rest Haven Cemetery under the direction of Richardson Funeral Home, Winnsboro.
Rev. Credit died Monday, Aug. 4, 2008 at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe.
Survivors include in wife, Betty Credit, Winnsboro; sons: Marlyn Credit and Tavarius Hagan Credit, both of Winnsboro; Thaddious Credit, Houston, Texas; George Credit Jr., Charles Credit and Bobby Joe Credit, all of Seattle, Wash.; daughters: Sonya Credit, Winnsboro; Jacquline Wiley, Monroe; Tonya Credit, Houston, Texas; Brenda Credit and Penny Brooks, both of Seattle, Wash.; sisters: Ida J. Davis, Port Arthur, Texas; Mary E. Preston, San Antonio, Texas; brothers: Willie Credit Sr. and Larry Joe Credit, both of Winnsboro; Reb Credit, Joliet, Illinois; Isaac J. Credit, Houston, Texas; and 26 grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Shedrick Credit, Larry Credit Jr., Cedric Hagan, Jimmy Johnson, Christopher Moffitt, Alvin White.

Lee Jackson
Visitation for Lee Jackson, 100, of Wisner will be Sunday, Aug. 17, 2008 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Richardson-Sims Funeral Home Chapel in Winnsboro.
Burial will be at Holly Grove Cemetery in Wisner.
Mr. Jackson, a salvage yard owner, died Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2008.

Harold T. Jones
Funeral services for Harold T. Jones, 77, of Winnsboro were held Saturday at Richardson and Sims Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Eugene Lumpkin officiating.
Burial followed at Sims-Gethsemane Memorial Garden Cemetery in Winnsboro under the direction of Richardson and Sims Funeral Home.
Mr. Jones died Sunday at Franklin Medical Center.
Survivors include one son, Brad Foy, Winnsboro; three daughters: Diane Singleton and Erica Foy, both of Winnsboro; Valerie Felix, Inglewood, Calif.; one brother: Theodore Jones, New Orleans.
Pallbearers were Jerald Foy, Marcus Foy, Wayne Harvey, Carrington Jackson, LeRegerick Straughter, and Eddie Webb.

Charlie Lewis Adams
Memorial services for Charlie Lewis Adams, 67, of Ferriday were held at Young's Funeral Home, Wednesday, July 23, 2008 with Bro. Lester Johnson officiating.
Mr. Adams was born May 17, 1941 in Monroe, and passed away Monday, July 21, 2008 at Natchez Community Hospital. He was a resident of Ferriday and a retired iron worker.
He was preceded in death by his father, Grover Adams; mother, Mattie Fatheree Adams; brother, Pat Adams; and sister, Julie Adams Daigle.
Survivors include two sons: Charles Adams Jr., Ferriday; Brandon Southern, Crowville; daughters: Theresa Deadmond, North Carolina; Kathy Brumfield, Virginia; grandson, Randall Deadmond; two granddaughters: Shaley Brumfield and Brooklynn Morgan; brothers: Gary Adams, Winnsboro; Grover Adams, Ferriday; sisters: Janice Fassino, Baton Rouge; Marcia Payne, Crowville; Sue Kinder, Oklahoma; and a host of nieces and nephews.
