Perfect game
 WINNSBORO BELLES All-Star pitchers (left to right) Jacie Turner, Autumn Acree and Hollie Erwin pitched a perfect game against the Rayville All-Stars in the District 5 tournament held recently in Oak Grove. The three pitchers put away 15 batters in five innings. Acree pitched the first three innings, striking out all nine batters. Turner pitched the fourth inning with three up and three down; and Erwin pitched the fifth inning, turning away all three batters. The girls were recognized by the announcer after the game for having the first perfectly pitched game in the history of the tournament. (Submitted photo) |
