Floyd 'Timer' Ferrington
Funeral services for Floyd "Timer" Ferrington, 80, of Jonesville, were held at South Central Baptist Church on Friday, Aug. 1, 2008 with Rev. Larry Eubanks, Rev. T. J. Boyd, and Rev. Dennis Relaford officiating. Interment followed at South Central Cemetery under the direction of Young's Community Memorial Funeral Home in Winnsboro.
Mr. Ferrington was born Jan. 18, 1928 in Wisner, and passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at Plantation Oaks Nursing Home in Wisner. He was a resident of Jonesville, an oil field worker, and a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Jonesville. He served in the U.S. Army-Air Force.
He was preceded in death by his father, Louis Ferrington; mother, Eula (Roberts) Ferrington; brothers: Roy Ferrington and Gollus "Shuck" Ferrington; sister, Louise Ferrington Ellisl grandsons: Mark Sylvest and Stephen Sylvest.
Survivors include his wife, Faye (Byrnes) Ferrington of Jonesville; three daughters: Wanda (Ferrington) Ferrington of Franklinton, La; Debbie Siffert of St. Landry, La.; and Lorie Smith of Jonesville; son, Floyd D. Ferrington of Harrisonburg; four brothers: Aaron Jackson Ferrington, Louis Ferrington Jr. and Roosevelt Ferrington, all of Wisner; Charlie Ferrington of Ohio; three sisters: Irma Ferrington and Evelyn Roberts, both of Baton Rouge; and Mamie Moore of Crowell, Texas; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Pallbearers were Jeremy Ferrington, Scotty Booth, Rusty Booth, Cody Ferrington, Jason Ferrington, and Chris Creel.

Sam Hutto
Funeral services for Sam Hutto, 60, of Gilbert, were held at Chase Pentecostal Church on Wednesday, July 30, 2008 with Rev. Ray McMurray, Rev. James McMurray, Rev. Stacy Givens, and Rev. Clay Hutto officiating. Interment followed at Oakley Cemetery under the direction of Young's Community Memorial Funeral Home in Winnsboro.
Mr. Hutto was born Jan. 31, 1948 in Wisner, and passed away Monday, July 28, 2008 at Franklin Medical Center in Winnsboro. He was a resident of Gilbert, a mechanic, a welder, an electrician, and a member of the Chase Pentecostal Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Luther Wilson Hutto; mother, Mary Isabelle (Posey) Hutto; and daughter, Sara Hutto.
Survivors include his wife, Sara (Tucker) Hutto of Gilbert; three sons: Wesley Hutto of Winnsboro; Jonathan Hutto and Jeffery Hutto both of Gilbert; step son, Tony Newman of Fort Necessity; step daughter, Areil Newman of Gilbert; five brothers: Dan Hutto, Jigger; George Hutto, Leo Hutto, Dave Hutto, and Willard Hutto, all of Winnsboro; five sister: Willie Mae Seymour, Gracie Mae Page both of Winnsboro; Jeannie Huff of Crowville; Linda Gayle Brown of Newellton; and Bobbie Hutto North of Calhoun; one grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Eddie Quimby, David Wilcher, John Lee, David Hutto, Herman Hutto, and Mark Hutto.
Honorary Pallbearers were Sam Langley, James Talbert, Kenneth Ferguson, Bennie Lee, Stanley Rice, and Clarence Cupp.

Maralyn Gilmore Lotz
Funeral services for Maralyn Gilmore Lotz, 69, of Bettendorf, Iowa, formerly of Fort Necessity, were held at Oak Grove Baptist Church, Winnsboro on Saturday with the Rev. Don Blackmon officiating.
Interment followed at Fort Necessity Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Young's Community Memorial Funeral Home, Winnsboro.
Mrs. Lotz was born Sept. 5, 1938, and passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at her residence in Bettendorf. She was a retired secretarial supervisor and auditor for AAA.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fredrerick Lotz; father, Allen Gilmore; and brother, Allen Gilmore.
Survivors include her mother, Nadine Gilmore, Fort Necessity; three daughters: Marion Turner, Bettendorf, Donna Eugene, South Portland, Maine, and Deborah Damme, Palm Harbor, Fla.; sister, Nida Keene, Bastrop; brother, Gerald Gilmore, Fort Necessity; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Randy Gilmore, David Gilmore, Tyler Gilmore, Danny Posey, Pete Guimbellot, and Paul Windsor.

LaDale Mitchell Munholland
Funeral services for LaDale Mitchell Munholland, 35, of Crowville, were held Friday, July 18, 2008 at the Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel in Rayville with Rev. Jerry Hunt, Sr. officiating. Interment followed in Lynn Cemetery, Archibald.
Mr. Munholland was born on Nov. 26, 1972 and passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2008. He was a U.S. Marine Corp veteran, serving in Desert Storm.
Survivors include his wife, Amy Munholland of Crowville; daughter, Ellie Claire Munholland of Crowville; parents, Wanda Suggs and husband, Rickey of Guys, Tenn., David Munholland and wife, Toni of Crowville; sisters, April McMurry, Amber, and Abbey Munholland all of Crowville; maternal grandmother, Dorothy Berry of Rayville. 
Pallbearers were Brad Shows, Corey Griffin, Mark Steed, Rusty Allen, Kris Spillers, and Scotty Smitherman.
Honorary pallbearers were Jamie McDaniel and D.J. Love.

Gayo Almo Jordan
Funeral services for Gayo Almo Jordan, 88, of Winnsboro, will be held at Jigger Apostolic Church on Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2008 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Hurby Hitt and Rev. Virgil Harris officiating. Interment will follow at Providence Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Young's Community Memorial Funeral Home in Winnsboro
Mrs. Jordan was born March 15, 1920 in Extension, and passed away Sunday, Aug. 3, 2008 at Franklin Medical Center Winnsboro. She was a resident of Jigger, a homemaker, and a member of the Jigger Apostolic Church. She loved quilting, canning and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Bernice Jordan; father, Vergil J. Jones; mother, Nebrasky (Goldman) Jones; six brothers: Bud Jones, Buddy Jones, Rev. Jack Jones, Bay Jones, Toodler Jones, Pickle Jones; sister, Emily Hastins; and Carlton's first wife, Ann Guthrie Jordan.
Survivors include two daughters, Verna Lea McDaniel and husband, Lannie, Pauline Gremillion and husband Stewart, all of Vidor, Texas; two sons, Carlton Jordan and wife Wanda of LeCoupte, La.; Garry Jordan and wife La Vonne of Winnsboro; special niece, Lola Jane Hitt; a host of nieces, nephews and friends, and special friend, Maxine Calhoun. She was also survived by seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, 24 step-great grandchildren, and six step-great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Richard McDaniel, Lynn McDaniel, Dane Jordan, Craig Gremillion, David Barnhart, Allen Barnhart, and Taylor Jordan.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Edward Jones, "Sonny Man" Jones, Paul Ray Jones, Pete Guthrie, Rev. Sam Parker, and James Taylor.
The family will receive friends at Jigger Apostolic Church from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2008.

Robert Lee South
Funeral services for Robert Lee South, 65, of Houston, Texas were held Saturday at Paradise Baptist Church in Newellton with the Rev. J.C. Hooker officiating.
Burial followed in Magnolia Cemetery in Newellton under the direction of Richardson Funeral Home, Winnsboro.
Mr. South, formerly of Newellton, died Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at his home in Houston. He was a truck driver.
Survivors include his wife, Ava South, Killen, Texas; sons: Anthony Bess, Killen, Texas; Nathiel Carruthers, Houston; daughters: Robbin Small, Roshan Small, Rochell Small and Nathasha Carruthers, all of Houston; step-mother, Mary Lee South; sisters: Mildred South, Vicksburg, Miss.; Shirley South and Linda South, both of St. Joseph; Kassandra South and Patricia South, both of Newellton; Melissa South, Sicily Island; brothers; James South, Leesville; Danny South, Michael South, Jamrcus South, all of Newellton; and Morris South, Detroit, Mich.; and 13 grandchildren.
Pallbearers were James South, Michael South, Morris South, Anthony Bess, Danny South, and Derrick South.
