On Saturday, July 26, 2008, Amy LeAnne Fowler and Christopher Ottis Tucker were united in holy matrimony during a double ring ceremony at two o'clock in the afternoon. The ceremony was held at the First Baptist Church in Brandon, Miss. with the Rev. Mike May officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Ms. Annette Sorey-Fowler of Brandon, Miss. and Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Fowler of Winnsboro.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Don Tucker of Pelahatchie, Miss.

The couple exchanged vows beneath a bridal arch decorated with tulle and fresh summer flowers in red, white and ivy. Boston ferns were placed at the base of the arch and candelabras with white candles flanked each side of the altar. Music for the ceremony was provided by pianist Kay Kelly.

Drew Fowler of Brandon and Blake Sorey of Hunnington, Texas, served as candlelighters and ushers.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose a pure white strapless trumpet-style gown accented with a band of black satin and lace-up back. Her veil was embellished with seed pearls and accented the chapel-length train. The bridal bouquet was a fresh flower arrangement of white English roses, sweetheart roses and cala lillies.
Kim Cook of Brandon served as the bride's maid of honor. She wore a black floor-length gown with an empire waist. She carried a red and white bouquet tied with a black satin ribbon.

Nadia Wiltcher of Madison, Miss., Debra Atkinson and Jennifer Wiltcher, both of Pelahatchie, Miss., served the bride as her bridesmaids. They wore gowns like that of the maid of honor.

Serving as junior bridesmaids were Kortni Atkinson and Darey Atkinson of Pelahatchie. They each wore a white dress accented with a black sash.
Isabelle Atkinson and Terri Wiltcher of Pelahatchie served as flower girls. They each wore white dresses like those of the junior bridesmaids.
Roger Gray of Pelahatchie served the groom as his best man.

Groomsmen were Don Tucker and Billy Wiltcher of Pelahatchie and Michael Fredrick of Pearl, Miss.

Davin Blake Cook of Potomac Falls, Va. served as ringbearer.
For the ceremony, the bride's mother chose a black and white print dress with a red and white corsage. The groom's mother wore a black dress with a red and white corsage.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held for the couple in the fellowship hall of the church. The wedding cake was a three-tiered confection accented with black ribbon and topped with a summer floral bouquet of red and white flowers accented with greenery.

The groom's cake was a chocolate cake with chocolate icing and depicted an outdoors theme.

Guests were seated at tables covered with white linen tablecloths and topped with black runners. Red and white floral arrangements with candles and rose petals decorated each table.

The bride is a graduate of Brandon High School and currently attends Mississippi College in Clinton, Miss. She is employed at the corporate headquarters of Farm Bureau Insurance in Mississippi.

The groom is a graduate of Pelahatchie High School and is currently employed as an air-conditioner technician with Metro Mechanical in Jackson, Miss.

The couple will make their home in Ridgeland, Miss.
