Kentralyn K. Johnson is a candidate to receive her bachelor of science degree in computer information systems from Grambling State University. Commencement exercises will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 25, 2008, at the GSU Assembly Center in Grambling.

While completing her undergraduate studies, Johnson was inducted into numerous honor societies including the Golden Key International Honour Society for exceptional academic accomplishments. Her future goals include pursuing a master's degree in her field of study.

Johnson is a 2005 honor graduate of Franklin Parish High School. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Johnson, Sr. and the granddaughter of Mrs. Viola J. Finister of Wisner and Ms. Easter L. Smith and the late L.S. Norris of Winnsboro.
