Kid's rodeo coming July 25, 26

The Deep South Kid's Rodeo will be Friday, July 25 beginning with sign-up at 6 p.m. and riding starting at 7 p.m.
The age groups are 0-7, 8-12 and 13-18. The events include barrels ($10), poles ($10) and speed ($10).
On Saturday, July 26, the signup is again at 6 p.m., with the events starting at 7 p.m. Muttin' bustin' ($5) for children through age 6 is the first event, followed by calf riding ($10) for ages 7 and 8, junior steer riding ($10) for 9 through 13-year-olds and team roping ($10) for ages 18 and under.
There will be no lead-ins for these events. No refunds will be made on rainouts.
The events will be at the rodeo arena on Loop Road. Admission is $2 for adults and children under age 18 are admitted free.
The 51st annual PRCA Rodeo in Winnsboro will be July 31 through Aug. 2 at 8 p.m. nightly at the area. Local sponsors are Dennis Crain Dodge, Croplan Genetics, Winnsboro Equipment and Louisiana Lottery. |
