Paul and Judy Work of Winnsboro announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Kristen Leigh Work, to Shaun Alexander Mackey, son of Deborah Mackey and the late Alex Mackey of Tallulah.

The bride-elect is the maternal granddaughter of Merle Spann McKee and the late Marion Edgar "Ed" McKee of Wisner. She is the paternal granddaughter of Joyce Dunn Work and the late Rev. Herman Work of Winnsboro.

The groom is the maternal grandson of Cody Fulgham and the late Norris Fulgham of Natchez, Miss. He is the paternal grandson of Deanna Mackey and the late Jackie Mackey of Vicksburg, Miss.

She is a graduate of Winnsboro High School and the University of Louisiana at Monroe. She is currently pursuing a master's degree in education from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston.

He is a graduate of Tallulah High school and attended the University of Louisiana at Monroe. He is currently employed by LaVelle Williamson Construction.

The wedding is set for six o'clock in the evening on July 26, 2008, at the First United Methodist Church in Wisner. The Rev. Frances Guy will officiate the ceremony.

Friends and family are invited to attend through this medium.
