WMC ends perfect season

Winnsboro Medical Center of the 15 to 19-year-old Dixie Majors wrapped up a perfect 10-0 season on June 20, holding Johnny's Pizza scoreless in the 13-0 victory.

Jacob Roark pitched his fifth no-hitter of the year and struck out nine players.

Christian Eaton pitched three innings for Johnny's with three strikeouts, four walks, five hits and six runs. Zach Hughes pitched two innings with one strikeout, five walks, two hits and seven runs.
WMC had nine hits and scored three runs in the first, three in the second, two in the fourth and five in the fifth.

Batting for WMC were Tyler Dooley, two RBIs; Caleb Kratzer, two doubles, three runs, one RBI; Dustin Barefield, one double, two runs; Jacob Roark, one single, one homer, four runs, three RBIs; Johnathan Eaton, two singles, one run, one RBI; Brandon Miller, one single, two runs; Adam Welch, one single.

WMC's has one 16-year-old on the team and the rest of the players are 15.
