Davis Lewis Richardson
Funeral services for David Lewis Richardson, 49, of Wisner, were held at Young's Community Memorial Funeral Home on Friday, June 20, 2008 with Rev. Bruce Loftin officiating. Interment followed at New Pine Hill Cemetery under the direction of Young's Community Memorial Funeral Home in Winnsboro.
Mr. Richardson was born Nov. 3, 1958 in Pineville, and passed away Monday, June 16, 2008 at his residence in Wisner. He was a farmer.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Alford Richardson; mother, Ruby (McGinty) Richardson; brothers: James Alford Richardson, Jr. and John Earl Richardson.
Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Sheila Marie (Harr) Richardson of Wisner; three daughters: Amanda Lynn Richardson, Britney Nicole Richardson, Elizabeth Danielle Richardson, all of Wisner; one brother, Danny Ray Richardson of Wisner; one sister, Annie Mae Boyette, of Wisner; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Loyd Delaughter Jr., Martin Richardson, Joe McCall, Roger Punchard, Jimmy Parker, and Danny Martin.
Honorary pallbearers were Don Beaube and Bobby Rushing.

Jessie L. Marzell
Funeral services for Miss Jessie L. Marzell, 52, of Winnsboro were held Sunday, June 22, 2008 at 2 p.m. at First Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. Amos Griffin officiating.
Burial will follow at Cuba Cemetery under the direction of Richardson Funeral Home, Winnsboro.
Miss Marzell died Sunday, June 15, 2008 at Franklin Medical Center following a lengthy illness. She was a child care provider.
Survivors include three daughters: Angie Marzell, DeAndre Gipson and Dequana Marzell, all of Winnsboro; sisters: Shirley A. Marzell, Pat Marzell and Tonya Poe, all of Winnsboro; Jeanetta Marzell, Mary Singleton and Susette Marzell, all of Monroe; Betty Perry, Erma Davis, both of Winnsboro; Shawn Elzy, Baton Rouge; three brother, Percy Marzell, Winnsboro; Eric Elzy of Kalamazoo, Mich.; Jessie Shaw, El Paso, Texas; and 11 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Keith Wallace, Carl Wallace, Frank Coleman, Kinsley Compton Cotton, Jamar Cotton and Donald Coleman.
Lonnie Lee Parker
Funeral services for Lonnie Lee Parker, 90, of Gilbert were held at Jigger Apostolic Church, Saturday, June 21, 2008 with the Rev. Hurby Hitt, the Rev. Virgil Harris, and Bro. Joe Stroud officiating.
Interment followed at Harris Cemetery under the direction of Young's Community Memorial Funeral Home, Winnsboro.
Mr. Parker was born March 8, 1918 in Winnsboro and passed away Thursday, June 19, 2008 at Plantation Manor Nursing Home, Winnsboro. He was a resident of Winnsboro, a farmer, and member of the Jigger Apostolic Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Minnie Lou Allen Parker; father, Lonnie Parker; mother, Annie Hickingbottom Parker; three sons: Huey Parker, Richard Parker and Kenneth Ralph Parker; one daughter, Deborah Lananne Parker.
Survivors include sons; Samuel Parker and Shelby Parker, both of Gilbert; daughters: Eunice Jones, Gilbert; Carolyn Cureington, Bastrop; Juanita Fowler, Gilbert; Diane King, LaPlace; Janice Storey, Winnsboro; brothers: Billy Parker and John Parker; sisters: Irene Jones and Adelle Shivers, all of Shreveport.
Pallbearers were Russ Jones, Kyle Jones, Ethan Bass, Chad Parker, Patrick Parker, Josh Jones, and Kevin Bass.
Honorary pallbearers were Joey Storey, Johnny King JR., Gary Duke, Darold and Martin Parker; Pat Lee Parker; Donnie and Rusty Jones; Clayton Kruger and Dewey King.

Addie Louise Flint Clark
Funeral services for Addie Louise Flint Clark of Raymondville, Willacy County, Texas, formerly of Baskin, Franklin Parish, Louisiana, will be conducted on Thursday, June 26, at 10 a.m. at New Hope Baptist Church located at 825 HWY 610, Delhi, Louisiana, under the direction of Gill First National Funeral Home of Winnsboro, with Rev.'s Kelly Clark, Clovis Sturdivant, and Dennis Clark officiating. Interment will follow in Harris Cemetery near Crowville.
Mrs. Clark was born to the union of Charlie S. Flint and Abbie Selma Freeman on Nov. 18, 1913 in Ora, Covington County, Mississippi and died on June 21, 2008 in Raymondville, Willacy County, Texas. She attended Mangham High School, was a homemaker, a wonderful mother, a gardener, a seamstress, and an avid quilter—giving her quilts to many members of the family, relatives and friends as a remembrance of herself. She was a member of Hill Ridge Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Louis Clark; a son, Rev. Charlie Raymond Clark; grandson, Kenneth Alan Jones; great-granddaughter, Amy Darnell Anaclade; two great-grandsons, Dustin Frank Goulettte and Joseph Jones; sons-in-law, Earl Leroy Jones, Anthony Bartholomew and David Wayne Johnson; her parents; five brothers: Clifford, Oscar, Jesse, Paul, and James Flint; and one sister, Myrtle Odell Denny.
She is survived by three daughters: Mary Louise Bartholomew of Abbeville, La.; Shirley Ashley and husband Vernon of Raymondville, Texas; Glinda Faye Huntsman and husband Alma of Crossett, Ark.; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers are Kelly Clark II, Tony Ashley, Randy Ashley, Terry Jones, Charles Evans, and Douglas Clark.
Honorary Pallbearers are James Edward Clark, Carl Killian, and Lynn Jones.
Visitation will be at New Hope Church on Wednesday, the 25th from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Thursday morning until time of service.

Walter Bacle Jr.
Funeral services for Walter Bacle, Jr., 80, of Winnsboro, were held at Young's Community Memorial Funeral Home on Thursday, June 19, 2008 with Rev. Jeff May officiating. Interment followed at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Young's Community Memorial Funeral Home in Winnsboro.
Mr. Bacle was born Aug. 10, 1927 in Winnsboro, and passed away Monday, June 16, 2008 at North Monroe Medical Center in Monroe. He was a resident of Winnsboro, and a retired oil field worker.
He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Bacle; and mother, Lula (Warbington) Bacle.
Survivors include his wife: Dorothy (Rollins) Bacle of Winnsboro; two daughters: Shirlely Fontenot and husband Mike of Houston, Texas; and Beverly Kraft and husband Mark of Aiken, SC; five grandchildren: Michael Fontenot Jr. and wife Celeste of Houston, Texas; Joey Reeves of Calhoun; Niki Cannon of Baton Rouge; Shelley Laviolette and husband Brady of Layfette; Tiffany Reeves of Denver, Colo.; four great-grandchildren: Lauren and Luke Cannon of Rayville; Lauren and Victoria Fontenot of Houston, Texas.
Pallbearers were Michael Fontenot, Jr., Joey Reeves, Luke Cannon, Brady Laviolette, Kenneth Reeves, and Johnny Max Bryant.

Donald Kirkham
Funeral services for Donald Kirkham, 57, of the New Hope Community, were held Friday, June 20, 2008 at the New Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Kelly Clark officiating. Services were under the direction of Gill First National Funeral Home in Winnsboro. Interment followed at Harris Cemetery in Swampers.
Mr. Kirkham was born on Aug. 19, 1950 to Clarence and Elizabeth Boyett Kirkham in Winnsboro and he passed from this life on Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at his residence.
He was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church and he loved to fish and hunt. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife of 26 years: Vickie Kirkham of the New Hope Community; daughter: Melissa Frasier of Columbia; two sisters: Mary Ann Fisher of Tallulah; Betty Belk of Columbia; two brothers: James Kirkham of Dodson; Delmer Kirkham of Crowville; two nephews: Terry Belk of Columbia; Perry Belk of Winnsboro; two grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Chuck Easterling, Dennis Poland, Danny Remore, Richie Strong, ABoy Sturdivant, and Tim Ulmer.

Mary Elizabeth Thompson
Funeral services for Mary Elizabeth Thompson, 77, of Gilbert, formerly of Tallulah were held Saturday, June 21, 2008 at Crocket Point Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Senn officiating. Burial followed in Harris Cemetery under the direction of Gill First National Funeral Home in Winnsboro.
Mrs. Thompson was born to the union of her parents Clifton and Vera Leach Brown on April 13, 1931 in Ida, La., and passed from this life on Wednesday, June 18, 2008 in Winnsboro. She is preceded in death by her parents; three brothers: C. B. Brown, Wayne Brown, and Franklin Brown; one granddaughter: Connie Thompson.
Mrs. Thompson is survived by one daughter: Elizabeth Reeves and husband Lynn of Gilbert; four sons: Bill Thompson and wife Chris of Oklahoma, Clifton Thompson and wife Eva of Shreveport, Clarence Thompson and wife Edna of Baton Rouge, and Billy Wayne Thompson of Monroe; 22 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers were J. R. Reeves, Jerimie Reeves, Billy Thompson Jr., Christopher Thompson, James Thompson and Tyler Thompson.
Honorary pallbearers were Brandon Thompson, Clarence Thompson Jr., Kevin Thompson, Shane Thompson, Kurt Jackson and Henry Wempren.

Chance 'Gooch' Wiley
Funeral services for Chance "Gooch" Wiley, 26, of Larto, were held at Larto Baptist Church Friday, June 20, 2008 with Bro. Tommy Cotten and Bro. Mack Walker officiating. Interment followed at Peas Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Home, Jonesville.
Mr. Wiley was born March 11, 1982 in Natchez, Miss., and passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2008. He was a resident of Larto and a member of Wayside Pentecostal Church.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Tyrone Dubois; maternal grandparents: Dan and Millie Wiley; paternal grandparents: Claude and Onolia Ellard.
Survivors include his parents: Claude and Angelia Ellard, Larto; wife, Christina Oxley Wiley, Grayson; son, Chance "Alex" Wiley; daughter, Melany Grace Wiley; sister, Miranda Jolene Trisler, Glade, La.; two step-sisters: Amber Smith and Dena Ellard; and three nieces.
Pallbearers were Len Thrasher, Chris Wiley, David Wiley, Anthony Wiley, Ben Wiley and Jessie Fuller.
