The Franklin Opry will return to the Princess Theatre on Saturday, June 21, in historic downtown Winnsboro. This month's performance will feature the house band, The Gene King Band.

"We're going to have a great time," said King. "It's going to be an informal performance and we'll be taking request from audience members."

Ricky Hendrix of Monroe, an up and coming country music entertainer, will be joining King and the band. Also set to perform are Donnie Carter and Eric Smith of Winnsboro.

"We want to invite everyone out to enjoy some good country music," said King.

Sponsors for the June Opry are Winnsboro State Bank and Waller-Singer Chevrolet.

Ticket prices are $10 for ages 13 and up while ages 12 and under is $3. The box office opens at 6:15 p.m. and the show starts at 7:00 p.m. For more information contact the Princess Box Office at 318-435-6299 or by email at princesstheatre@bellsouth.net.
