Posted 6/10/08 Charlie J. Svetlecic Funeral mass for Charlie J. Svetlecic were held Thursday, in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Winnsboro with Rev. Daniel Corkery and Rev. Dwight DeJesus celebrating the mass. Interment followed in Old Winnsboro Cemetery under the direction of Gill First National Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Mr. Svetlecic was born on Oct. 3, 1921 in Winnsboro and passed from this life Sunday, June 1, 2008 in Cypress, Texas. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Winnsboro. He retired after 35 years with IMC in Sterlington. He is preceded in death by his parents: Andrew and Frances Polancic Svetlecic; and two daughters: Teresa and Virginia Svetlecic. Mr. Svetlecic is survived by his wife of 61 years LaDetha Ward Svetlecic of Winnsboro; daughter: Mary Frances Eifler of Rustin; son: Andrew John Svetlecic of Provo, Utah; son: Joseph Michael Svetlecic of Houston, Texas; daughter: Elizabeth Anne Crace of Winnsboro; son: Richard Charles Svetlecic of New Orleans; daughter: Catherine Gourley, and husband David of Cypress, Texas; son: David Mark Svetlecic and wife Rose Di Grazia of Austin, Texas; daughter: Christina Svetlecic of Sasche, Texas; sister: Katie Wyatt and husband Travis of Berryville, Ark.; eight grandchildren: Jay Eifler, Laura Svetlecic, Rachel Svetlecic, Benjamin Svetlecic, Alice Svetlecic, Melea Crace, Samuel Crace and Madison Gourley. Alma T. Rhinehart Funeral services for Alma T. Rhinehart, 84, of Rayville were held Friday, June 6, 2008 at Calvary Baptist Church near Mangham with Rev. Gary Courtney officiating. Burial followed at Hewitt Cemetery under the direction of Gill First National Funeral Home in Winnsboro. Mrs. Rhinehart was born to the union of her parents Amos and Dure Harper Thigpen on Sept. 15, 1923 in Sikes, La., and passed from this life on June 4, 2008. Mrs. Alma was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She retired after 20 years with Buccaneer Slacks and LaSavilla Garment factories. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Ray Rhinehart, four brothers and four sisters. Mrs. Alma is survived by one daughter: Regena Trichell of Monroe, and one son: Lloyd d. Rhinehart of Pasadena, Texas; two grandchildren: Steven Rhinehart and Jessica Ventura; and six step grandchildren: Russell Wheat, Billy J. Trichell, Faith Lankford, Monte Trichell, Brian Trichell and Nadine Hughes. Pallbearers were Andy McBroom, David McBroom, Timmy McBroom, Billy Trichell, Keith Trichell and Monte Trichell. Jamie Leroy McCall Funeral services for Jamie Leroy McCall, 33, of Wisner were held at Kings Pentecostal Church, Tuesday, June 10, 2008 with Rev. Jerry Brady officiating. Interment followed at Oakley Cemetery under the direction of Young's Community Memorial Funeral Home, Winnsboro. Mr. McCall was born June 1, 1075 in Jackson, Miss., and passed away Sunday, June 8, 2008 at Franklin Medical Center. He was a resident of Wisner and a farmer. He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Leroy McCall; son, Jared Alan McCall; paternal grandfather, Julian McCall; maternal grandfather, Bennie Parker; and grandmother Edna Rich. Survivors include his wife Chassitie Nicole (Mason) McCall, Wisner; mother, Judy Louise (Parker) McCall, Wisner; two children: Amber and Devin McCall, both of Wisner; grandmother, Annie Pearl Parker, Wisner; three brothers: Joseph McCall, Wisner; Jimmy McCall, Raine; James McCall, Thibodaux; and sister: Ann Cupp, Wisner; and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Jimmy McCall, James McCall, Joe McCall, Cedrick Jackson, Josh Ward, and Brandon Mason. Honorary pallbearers were Michael Cullen Barber and Deon Edwards. John Mack Lowe John Mack Lowe, age 71, of Cabot, Ark. passed from this life on June 5, 2008, with his children's love surrounding him. He was born on September 23, 1936 in Gilbert, Louisiana. John was a very compassionate man with a sense of humor that always made you laugh. He struggled for the last 3 years after many strokes incapacitated him. The family is comforted knowing that he is in Heaven with our Lord Jesus Christ and his granddaughter Nikki. The family wishes to thank Dr. Mark Smith from North Metro in Jacksonville who treated their father with dignity and kindness. Dr. Smith is truly an angel sent to Earth to assist patients and families who are dealing with unbearable pain and loss. The family would also like to thank Lloyd in the ICU who was exceptionally kind and compassionate. John is preceded in death by his father and mother, John Edward and Dollie Lowe; two brothers Glen and George, three sisters Jessie, Mercile, and Hazel; and his granddaughter Nikki. John is survived by four children: Dolly Upchurch and husband Ray of Texarkana, Ark.; Barbara Parsons and husband Craig of Cabot, Ark.; Jodene Langford of Texarkana, Ark.; John Joseph Lowe and his wife Connie of Vilonia, Ark.; two sisters, Gertrude Baker of Shreveport, and Helen Hanshaw of Odem, Texas; five grandchildren Johnny, Larry, Curtis, Scott, and Ashley; two great-grandchildren Pepper and Vivian; along with many other family members and friends. Our dad is now at peace in a refuge free from pain and filled with Grace from God. Services were held on Saturday, June 7, 2008 at Apostolic Church in Gilbert, Louisiana. Robert Lee Brunson Funeral services for Robert Lee Brunson, 89, of Mangham were held Saturday, June 7, 2008, at Calvary Baptist Church with Bro. Gary Courtney, Sister Charlotte Gerhardt, and Pastor Tom Lowe officiating. Interment followed in Gwin Cemetery, Mangham, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in Rayville. Mr. Brunson was born Dec. 24, 1918 and was called to be with his Lord on June 5, 2008. He leaves behind a blessed family to have had him for so long. Mr. Brunson is survived by his wife of 65 years, Lydia Gilley Brunson, and two daughters: Bobbie Brunson Bruce, and Dianne Brunson Boughton, both of Mangham; three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Brunson is proceded in death by his parents, Louis and Annie Bois Brunson, two sisters: Neva Mae Brunson and Lucille Bacle; three brothers: J.C. Brunson, Joel Brunson, and Samuel Brunson. Pallbearers were Jim Bruce, Robert Boughton, Chris Boughton, Gary Gilley, Timmy McBroom. Andy McBroom, and David McBroom. Honorary pallbearers were Floyd Bacle, Stanley Bacle, Barney Parker, Sonny McBroom, Johnny Cannon, Bill Poindexter, and Jimmy Lowery. Mr. Brunson served his country during World War II. He was a member of the Mangham Masonic Lodge and American Legion Post 13. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. He was a retired farmer.
