Franklin Opry returns to Princess Theatre
May 24 will mark the return of The Franklin Opry to the Princess Theatre. Normally held on the third Saturday of each month, it will be on the fourth Saturday due to performance conflicts. The family-oriented production will feature house band The Gene King Band and K-104 radio personality Carl Bamburg. Along with these regulars the May event will feature local favorites Jimmie Commeaux, Judy Long and Kyle Ann Kaufman. At press time other special artists were not confirmed. Ticket prices are $10 for ages 13 and up while ages 12 and under is $3.
